The property has strong links with the 1950s and as such we are going to have a themed weekend event on the 11/12 June. This will include a display of cars, jive dancing, fashion show, Horrockses exhibition and I would really love to add a display of 1950s toys. As I'm sure you are aware that Barbie featured a lot in the 50s and I would really love to give our visitors the opportunity to look at a collection which included some from the era but also how they have altered over the years up to the present day.
