The Mixed Chicks leave in conditioner is the most popular product in the range and is an ideal way to create fuss free, big, bouncy and defined curls. Designed to moisturise, control frizz and define curls, simply work a generous portion through soaking wet hair, leave-in and air-dry for the softest, bounciest and most defined curls ever! A great tip is to dilute some leave in conditioner in a spray bottle as a quick fix for that frizzy ‘halo’ that curly girls can sometimes be afflicted with.
The curl defining formula is designed for all curly girls, as Mixed Chicks founder Kim Etheridge points out “hair products shouldn’t be designed around what race somebody is, but rather what texture their hair is.” The range was designed by two mixed race women (Kim Etheridge and Wendi Levy) who found it difficult to find products that suited their hair texture – as neither European nor Afro hair products seemed to work for them.
